Logan (2017) – usa

Logan – ⭐⭐⭐

This story follows Logan (Wolverine) as he gets pulled into a fight to save children who have escaped from a lab that messed around with mutant DNA.

Not my fave X-men based movie but was a good watch. Got in to the movie about halfway through but felt the beginning was quite slow going.

Hunk (1987) – usa

Hunk – ⭐⭐⭐

A nerdy guy makes a deal with hell to become a hunky guy.

This movie has a little bit of everything from the 80’s. It’s very similar to Bedazzled. Lot’s of 80’s humour that brings back memories.

Quarantine (2008) – usa

Quarantine – ✩✩✩

American version of REC. A female reporter follows a group of firefighters she was interviewing in to an apartment building with her film crew. Soon they find themselves trapped in the now quarantined building with a zombie outbreak occurring in the building with them.

Not as good as the original from Spain but it is pretty much the same movie.

Paul (2011) – usa

Paul – ⭐⭐⭐

Two SciFi loving friends from England go to America to visit hotspots of SciFi interest and get more than they expected when they meet Paul, a rude fun loving alien.

Not one of my favourite Simon Pegg and Nick Frost movies but a good watch none the less. Some great jokes and one liners which tickle you even after the movie ends.

Cooties (2014) – usa

Cooties – ⭐⭐⭐

A substitute teacher’s first day at his old school proves to be the most dangerous day of his life. The school is overrun by zombie kids and the teachers have to save themselves and the rest of the world.

I had a good laugh with this one. As I’ve said before, I’m a huge zombie fan and if it’s got zombies I’ll watch it. This one was a funnyntake on cooties causing zombies amongst kids and teaches with little to no combat skills dealing with them in very awkward ways while trapped in a school.
